Position: Account Manager, Digital Media Operations – 10 Month Contract
Location: 50 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto, ON
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the day-to-day activities within the online account(s) and the execution of customer orders, from initial briefing to campaign post-mortem, including, order entry, ad trafficking and creative management
- Manage the fulfillment and optimization of campaigns in line with the customers’ requirements and expectations
- Schedule and manage online advertising campaigns using multiple systems and tools (DSM, DFP) including all required filters, settings and targeting criteria
- Provide regular reports to the customer and the Account Executive on the delivery of the campaign
- Identify opportunities within the account for up selling and cross selling and work closely with the Account Executive on proposals for new business
- Responsible for account optimization and increased Return on Investment (ROI) from the customer’s perspective
- Build a reputation of “trusted advisor” within the customer business and develop strong relationships with key contacts
- Responsible for all compliance on client deliverables and revenue:
- Trafficking and launching campaigns based on requested launch date
- Send clients ad specifications based on their campaign and provide any assistance required to ensure creative meets with these specifications
- Provide clients with reporting and any optimization suggestions
- Monitoring online campaigns to ensure full delivery
- Billing revisions
- Ensure client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Account Executive and Managing Director of any problems that may arise
- Work closely with the product and content team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed and quality standards are met
- Provide regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations
- Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client
- Provide regular input on all account activity to Associate Director, including status and call reports on a weekly basis
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in internet advertising (ad operations, media planning, media buying)
- Proven track record in campaign management and optimization
- Bilingualism in French and English is required
- Effective planning, time management and organizational skills coupled with an ability to identify opportunities for new business / up selling are keys to success
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills under pressure
- Great communication and influencing skills
- Conflict management, relationship building and customer services skills are essential
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Ad Servers and CRM tools; passion for technology
- Motivated, energetic, determined and has experience working in teams
- Detail oriented, resilient, team player and an agile learner
