The Campaign Marketing Group is currently seeking qualified candidates, for the position of Campaign Reporting and Analysis Specialist to join their team in Mississauga. We are looking for an individual with a strong business analysis and financial background. The required candidate must be able to delve deeply into complex business problems and provide recommendations on strategic marketing strategies.

 

Candidates will have to pass an Intermediate Excel test to qualify for this position.

 

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Conduct weekly and quarterly analysis to measure the results and effectiveness of sales performance, offers, marketing campaigns and programs
  • Monitor and analyze variances and performance trends
  • Tracking and managing the campaign team budget and promotional offer spend
  • Forecasting promotional spending and measuring effectiveness through ROI analysis
  • Working with channel primes on regional / tactical and mass offer planning and execution
  • Post mortem analysis on the effectiveness of marketing / channel programs and initiatives
  • Gather insights on industry trends to identify gaps and opportunities in the market
  • Deep-dive analyses and business case development to uncover and quantify opportunities
  • Data mining and manipulation of data utilizing MS Excel and MS Access
  • Ad Hoc analysis and reporting

 

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and data mining skills, with an acute attention to detail
  • Strong financial background and business acumen
  • Good understanding of marketing strategies and sales processes
  • Able to challenge the status quo and build better processes
  • Autonomous and disciplined self-starter
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage rapidly changing priorities
  • Work and lead cross-functionally with successful end-to-end execution

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of proven experience in Business Analytics (Wireless industry is an asset)
  • Data mining utilizing MicroStrategy, SAS, SQL, SAP, EDW
  • Strong with MS Office (Excel / Access / PowerPoint)
  • Post-secondary degree Marketing, Accounting, Business or Engineering
