Job Title:  Associate Network Project Administration

Job Location: 5115 Creekbank, Mississauga, (Ontario)

Job Status: Temporary Part-Time (project duration: 24 months)

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:

  • Establish the critical path and manage all logistical requirements including material for multiple technologies
  • Analyse requirements based on RFW/WBS received
  • Obtain all assignments from various groups, databases and field notes to prepare a COE RFW
  • Coordinate issuance of equipment required
  • Keep SAP Milestones current through the various installation phases.
  • Manage the budget of projects to ensure there are no budget over runs to optimize financial integrity.
  • Seek approval from NM's for budget revisions.
  • Maintain all databases such as COPS /IPACT/H.S.A/SAP.
  • On an ongoing basis, respond to general inquiries from various departments.

 

Essential Qualifications / competencies:

  • MS Excel:  Intermediate (master spreadsheets,and reports)
  • MS Word:  Intermediate
  • Self motivated individual with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong team focus and ability to work well with immediate and extended team
  • Able to coordinate and negotiate effectively with various departments
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and written
  • Works well under pressure and can carry many projects simultaneously meeting deadlines
  • Must be technically adaptable to understanding all technologies, legacy to leading edge
  • Ability to cope in a fast paced, stressful environment
  • Ability to order equipment from Technical documentation

 

Preferred Qualifications / competencies:

  • Knowledge of outside plant - plans and Bell equipment (Power  Node, AMAS,ONU,Optera, OME)
  • Previous Access Network experience
  • SAP P50
  • Knowledge of HSA (High Speed Access)
