Job Description:
Within the Bell Business Markets Finance group, this Finance Associate Director role is critical in the overall financial management of the BBM Sales team. We are looking for a dynamic and responsible self-starter, who is detail-oriented and can work collaboratively with others members of the finance team while managing a small team of direct reports. The candidate will work closely with the BBM Sales leaders (4 Sales VP, 1 SVP, around 700 sellers) on a day to day basis to provide financial guidance, support and insight on any business decision.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Work closely with the Sales senior VP as a financial adviser for any strategic business decision to make.
- Coordinate the planning and forecasting of the revenues of a 3B$ business with all the Sales regions & VP.
- Responsible for Sales target quota for each regions and sellers.
- Involved in any strategic planning and Deep Dive analysis.
- Oversee monthly financial reporting & analysis of revenues
- Develop, improve and implement Sales reports to allow Sales to achieve their targets
- Productivity analysis
- Perform adhoc analysis & special reports to support decision making and the resolution of issues
- Recommend and implement “process improvement” within the finance team, identifying areas of overlap and potential efficiency gains
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- 10 years of financial/accounting experience
- Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CPA, CGA)
- Experience managing a team of 3 or more members
- Customer centric
- Confident with strong leadership and communication/presentation skills
- Experience working closely with Senior Management
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly motivated, pro-active, ability to multi-task and to adapt to a complex and changing environment
- Diplomatic and assertive, able to interface with senior management
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Good understanding of revenue recognition principles and SOX processes
- Flexible schedule
- Bilingual (French and English)
