The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.  The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.

The Marketing Operations team is seeking a strategic, innovative, and experienced Director to lead the Base Marketing team.  This leader will manage the subscription and transactional based upsell for all of BRS, working closely with product, channel, programming and marketing communications partners.  They will lead a team of 30 marketing professionals as they develop the end to end base marketing strategy and execute on campaigns and marketing programs to deliver revenue growth.

 
Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to increase average revenue per customer
  • Manage the end to end 4P marketing strategy for TV & Internet upsell (Cravetv, premium movies, premium sports, programming, usage, speed, Tech Expert, hardware)
  • Manage external relationships with Partners (e.g. Astral, Corus, NHL, NFL) to develop marketing offers/programs to increase specific property penetration
  • Lead take to market plan for new product introductions
  • Revenue management and behavioral forecasting for BRS product lines
  • Weekly review of portfolio results with the BRS executive team
  • Quarterly marketing plan development and presentation to the executive team
  • Direct management of 5 Sr. Managers

 

 

Critical Competencies:

 

  • University degree in Business / MBA with Marketing focus.
  • 10+ years in Telecommunications industry, with strong knowledge of marketing, and TV business.
  • Developed targeted marketing programs, working with cross functional partners (Database team, Finance, Marcomm, and Channel) to identify and reach optimum segments for upsell
  • Strong partnership skills, able to work with both internal and external partners to create marketing offers/programs.
  • Proven ability to drive results with sense of urgency.
  • Strategic thinking and a talent for finding creative solutions to problems
  • Highly pro-active, and flexible with the ability to adapt to a complex and quickly changing environment.
  • Experienced in coaching and directing teams
  • Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated ability to synthesize complicated information
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
