Name and description of the hiring department:
The FTTH Brownfield team is responsible for the optical fiber deployment for the Quebec and Ontario regions to serve our customers with advanced technology. Currently, we are looking for a suitable candidate to fill in the associate position. The associate will be responsible to produce various reports, monitor and analyze data to understand and predict the financial impact of network deployments.
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
- Produce various reports, perform detailed analysis related to the budget management of portfolios and monitor different components of the program
- Update various tracking files and assure data integrity
- Follow financial portfolios evolution by analyzing various reports produced by finance
- Conduct project analysis to understand variances that could impact budget and unit cost
- Participate in different analysis for the unit costs to understand impacts that will help to determine and implement operational improvement
- Participate in the unit cost production, optimization and diminution
- Monitor and validate projects in SAP and in the HSA database
- Participate in various analysis by compiling data and determining trends for unit costs and budget
- Participate in improving the tools used by the budget team
- Establish and maintain procedures related to the production of reports, analysis and budgetary tools
Essential Qualifications / Competencies:
- Excellent analytical skills
- Have a sense of organization, planning and the ability to manage stress and workload
- A good team player that communicates effectively across the teams based in Quebec and Ontario
- Autonomous, resourceful and ready to make decisions
- Be flexible to changes
- MS Excel - Intermediate level; including but not limited to VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
- Knowledge of SAP system
- French and English; reading, writing, spoken / Fluent in the language with no significant limitation
- Strong competency in Windows OS and efficiency in email and Internet applications
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of BI (Business Warehouse)
- Knowledge of SAP P50 system, specifically in regards to network transactions (CN41N, CN22, CJI3, CJ02, CNS46, ZPSDISP). WBS knowledge is an asset
