Our Network team plans, designs, builds and operates Bell’s multi-billion dollar networks, including the continued expansion of our fibre optic network, HSPA+ and LTE — Canada’s largest and fastest wireless network.

The Wireless Technology Services Mobile Advertising and Customer Intelligence team is responsible for the development of customer analytics strategy and solutions for business and network opportunities.
The role of the Customer Intelligence Architect is to design, develop and test the analytics solutions prior to launching in the wireless production environment. There will also be a focus around the evolution of the solutions architecture in line with the long term business and network needs from different organizations.
The Customer Intelligence Architect will be working in a highly dynamic environment, interfacing with different business and technical teams on the development and implementation of analytics solutions to meet business development and network improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager, Mobile Advertising and Customer Intelligence, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, development and testing of customer intelligence analytics solutions and features prior to implementation in production network
- Define solution requirements with Service Development and marketing organizations based on business plans and opportunities
- Define technical requirements on the analytics solutions with different technology organization
- Develop & manage relationship with vendors on solution development and implementation activities
- Provide technical expertise to business and procurement teams on contractual related activities (e.g. Master Service Agreement, Statement of Work)
- Manage the RFI or RFP processes and executions when a new technological solution is developed. This includes evaluation of vendor responses, technology assessments and vendor selection for the deployment
- Develop and define technology roadmap on the customer analytics solutions, with consideration on industry trends and vendor roadmap
- Interface with IS/IT and their vendors (e.g. Amdocs, CGI) to define and implement the Billing and Provisioning capabilities of the analytics solution
- Execute the development, implementation and acceptance of customer analytics solutions with other Wireless Technology, Engineering and Operations teams
- Provide support to Engineering and Operations teams during implementation and after commercial launch
- Act as a key interface between business and technology organizations on development, implementation and support activities related to customer analytics solutions
Critical Competencies:
- Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of telecommunication experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred Competencies:
- Knowledge of business intelligence and data warehouse technologies
- Knowledge of, and experience with SQL, Hadoop, MicroStrategy, Tableau, SAS
- Previous experience with development or implementation of network probes
- Previous experience with customer intelligence analytics solutions
- Previous experience in data warehousing, reporting and analysis services
- Previous experience in mobile networks and systems
- Knowledge of Bell Mobility’s network infrastructure and analytics tools implemented
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
