Job Description:
As a key member of the Residential Marketing Team, the Specialist, Acquisition Marketing is responsible for the planning, development and execution of residential acquisition programs to drive growth of the DSL and Bell TV Product portfolios in both FibreOP and DSL markets.
The candidate will be responsible for the assessment of existing markets, campaign target setting and development of specific marketing programs. The candidate will liaise with the Sales Channels across Atlantic Canada to drive sales. They will also consult with the Pricing Team to assess impacts of offer changes. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized, results oriented team player who demonstrates Bell Aliant’s Values. He/she also has a keen eye for quality and detail, is confident working independently and is comfortable with ambiguity, new challenges and hard deadlines. He/she is a results oriented individual who can translate strategy into programs. This individual has strong interpersonal skills and is able to lead cross functional teams to drive performance. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Acquisition, the successful applicant will be responsible for driving growth through the focus on new customer activations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead extended teams in the development and execution of acquisition offers.
- A combination of collaborative, analytical and creative skills will enable the development of profitable offers to grow the customer base.
- A high level of collaboration with Product Management, Marketing Communications, Sales Channels, and Marketing Implementation teams to execute campaigns to achieve Bell Aliant’s Acquisition targets.
- Develop, execute and monitor marketing programs – including target setting and post-program analysis.
- Coordinate, track and have ownership of overall campaign results.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, or equivalent with marketing experience. A Masters degree would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of our sales data systems and the ability to run queries would also be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Ability to lead a cross functional team and manage multiple projects.
- Fundamental marketing knowledge - sound understanding of the principles of marketing.
- Experience in or knowledge direct marketing strategies and tactics.
- Advanced knowledge and use of PC software and spreadsheets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
