Description
As Digital Inventory Planner, the candidate will work with Canada's most popular online destination with millions of unique visitors experiencing its entertainment, information and communication services every month, who supports the National and Local Sales teams for all Bell Media online advertising Brands (CTV, TSN, RDS, Astral, Loop / Sympatico, etc…)
The Digital Inventory Planner is a key role on our digital inventory team, responsible for inventory forecasting, campaign delivery analysis, RFP inventory support, various integral reporting needs and overall yield for the Digital properties. The main function of this role is to support the sales operations team with responding to RFP’s by providing accurate inventory forecasts. The Inventory Planner is also accountable for maintaining and QA’ing inventory systems that support the business.
Responsibilities:
- Review sales proposals for digital ad inventory accuracy and potential challenges, managing daily inventory requests from Sales Organization
- Utilize order management & reporting systems, providing expert recommendations to Sales/Rv Man questions
- Provide reporting out of DSM, DFP for various internal stakeholders regarding inventory sell-through
- Provide recommendations for inventory alternatives when desired inventory is sold out
- Strategize with team members to help come up with ways to improve order & inventory management processes
- Proactively alert Sales/Ops to potential delivery issues due to overbooking, traffic changes
- Drive application of quantitative analysis to inform ongoing inventory decisions
- Collaborate with cross functional groups including Ad Ops, Content, Rev Man, Finance, and Sales to identify inventory opportunities
- Forecast inventory availability, sell through, employing statistical analysis and modeling when needed
- Maintain reporting, forecasting models, dashboard, etc related to all ad sales inventory channels
- Skills/Experience
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience with digital advertising and online publishers with multiple sales channels
- Experience with DFP & DSM or other order management tools
- Strong analytical capability and Excel proficiency required
- Comfortable in fast-paced and changing environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Experience with online advertising platforms (Double-click (DFP))
- Possess excellent attention to detail and be self-motivated with impeccable organization skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere to meet tight deadlines
