Position: Inside Sales Representative, English Specialty – 6 month contract
Location: 50 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto, ON
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Responsibilities:
The Inside Sales Representative’s primary responsibility under the direction of the Group Director, English Specialty is to support the sales team’s sales efforts and develop sales opportunities. This includes (but not limited to) the following:
Support Sales Efforts:
- Assist Account Managers with proposals and avails when needed
- Act as backup contact when the Account Manager is out of the office or on vacation
- Process sales bookings and send confirmations to clients
- Manage contract shifts and revision requests
- Handle N/As
- Ensure make goods are handled effectively, assisting co-ordinators when necessary
- Assist co-ordinators with posts when needed
- Assist co-ordinators with pre-comp and logfill when needed
- Effectively liaise with all sales support functions such as traffic, research, marketing etc.
Sales Development:
- Deliver best in market customer service for any new business information requests; including proposals and follow-up
- Develop exceptional relationships with key clients/agencies
- Participate in industry activities related to the position
Qualifications:
- University degree is required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or equivalent
- Broadcast Media Sales experience preferred
- IBMS system knowledge is an asset
- Knowledge of broadcast research
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Manage multiple relationships well
- Detail oriented and organized
- Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
- Effective time management skills
- Assertive, competitive and committed
