The Corporate Security and Responsibility group is part of Corporate Services and provides best practice security solutions to support the organization. Numerous projects must be deployed to enhance the protection of our employees, partners and customers, the environment, our network and our operations. The Governance and Records Management group is responsible for program and project governance under Corporate Security and Responsibility, as well as for program and project monitoring, employee training and awareness on security issues, the documentation life cycle, the Security and Responsibility intranet sites and the corporate records management program.

We are seeking a candidate for the position of Specialist, Governance and Records Management. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Governance and Records Management, the incumbent will primarily be responsible for monitoring project performance and generating project performance reports.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise project performance under Corporate Security and Responsibility.
  • Work closely with the Vice-President, Directors and other members of the department to generate project performance reports primarily intended for senior management.
  • Work closely with the groups under Security and Responsibility to update or revamp the content on their web pages.
  • Define a visual identity for the Security and Responsibility group's reports, presentations, web pages, documents, and training, awareness and communication materials that adheres to the requirements of both the Brand Management and Corporate Communications groups.
  • Analyze the groups' web page visits to ensure the best customer experience for visitors.

 

Critical competencies

  • Excellent command of English and French, and impeccable writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and identify and manage priorities
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the preparation and layout of reports and presentations (examples are required)
  • Strong aptitude for adapting the tone and content of messages to the appropriate target audience
  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Attention to detail, creativity, autonomy and initiative
  • Excellent ability to build trusting relationships with professionals demanding a high standard of work

 

Preferred competencies

  • Sound knowledge of SharePoint
  • Communications experience
  • Project management experience

 

The incumbent must successfully go through extensive background verifications including but not limited to criminal record and reputational checks.

 

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
