An integral part of our customer service focus, includes contact centres across Canada supporting all of our Bell Mobility and Bell Residential Services customers. Our Customer Operations team is responsible for strategy, design and delivery of core call centre tools and processes, including queue strategy, routing, and call monitoring tools.
Bell’s Business Intelligence (BI) Group is responsible for the management and optimization of BI data, systems, and analytics used to create marketing contact strategies, analyze customer behaviour, automate business insight processes and provide insight to drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities may include:
- Analysis, report development, and delivery of business requests/issues/requirements, conducting quality assurance testing for all BI deliverables, and providing end user support related to project and operational Business Intelligence activities for Sales & Marketing business functions.
- Implement defined documentation and programming standards for projects and provide a documentation framework including requirements, design, testing and deployment documents
- Excellent leadership and communication skills required to work well with business users, other analysis teams, development teams, and IT teams
- Customer relationship management along BI lines for the assigned business functions
- Deliver on key projects and data strategies that directly support key business drivers
- Explore new sources of information to expand insight opportunities
- Empower end-users through instruction and functional knowledge transfer
- Works closely with Finance and other stakeholders to align governance around key business metrics
- Maintain and expand your knowledge of BI and current technology through training opportunities.
Critical Competencies:
- You have an undergraduate degree in a discipline such as: Business Analytics, Commerce, Applied Math, Computer Science, Applied/ Management Science or engineering
- You are highly analytical and understand the basic principles of working with large and complex data sets
- The candidate is required to have a minimum of 2 years experience in a BI role
- You have knowledge of, and experience with, SQL, SAS, and data visualization tools
- You have the ability to leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations.
- You have the ability to work with a team towards common goals.
- You are able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Competencies:
- Experience with data visualization using tools such as MicroStrategy or Tableau
- Experience with the design, development and maintenance of enterprise level data systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, SAS or others.
- Experience in developing automated reporting
- Experience with BI and data warehouse technologies.
- Experience in Telecommunications industry
