Employee Services is an operational group responsible for delivering human resources transaction and payroll services.
We currently have an opening for a hands-on and results-oriented Process Business Analyst.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Transactional and Payroll Managers and will partner with the Policy and IT teams to identify and analyze process impacts further to a legislative or policy change. The Process Business Analyst will also support the Operational teams with process issues. We require highly motivated individual who thrives in a constantly changing and exciting environment to support Bell’s current & future success.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Identify and analyze core business processes and workflows impacted by policy or legislative changes.
- Responsible for gathering and producing quality business/process requirement.
- Facilitate workshops with SMEs
- Ability to produce basic project documentation: plans, Business Process Documents, Process mapping.
- Beyond the facilitation of the up-front business requirements and process requirements gathering sessions and resulting documentation, if there is a system change related to the process change, the role also involves driving the user acceptance testing process, including preparation of acceptance criteria, review of the test plans and scenarios, review of test results as well as taking responsibility for end to end testing. In some cases the Business Analyst also executes test cases and directly ensures process integrity.
- Plan Change management activities with the business for changes to be adopted by the end users.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- 3-5 years experience as a process business analysis.
- Knowledge of payroll and HR transactions as well as HR Module of SAP
- Strong analytical, technical problem solving and organizational skills.
- Strong skills in process mapping
- Good communicator: written and verbal, good listener, Autonomous, planning skills.
- High aptitude for understanding information systems technology.
- Team player; ability to facilitate, negotiate and work within a multi-domain team environment.
- Experience in process mapping across systems flows.
- High tolerance to ambiguity.
- Self-motivated, curious and adaptable.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Preferred Qualifications /Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- BA master certificate completion.
- Ongoing development desire.
Working Conditions:
- Flexible, ability to work in an environment where “change” is prevalent.
- Ability to efficiently work in virtual teams, handling multiple projects and aggressive timelines.
- Available to work occasional weekends and evenings to meet hard deadlines.
Bilingualism is a must (English and French)
