Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for analyzing and managing specific access network facility requirements to meet both immediate and future network needs
  • Perform analysis utilizing various tools, which may include various corporate databases and Access Network work plans
  • Initiate activities including:
    • issue work orders to the field
    • coordinate and negotiate due dates related to work orders
    • follow up and review to ensure completion of work orders
  • Provide information and support to field forces, business office, provisioning and others related to network status and requirements
  • Accept responsibility of special projects as required

 

 Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Strong team orientation and desire to actively participate in team building
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to balance multiple tasks
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to work in a stressful ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate knowledge of Ms Excel
  • Intermediate knowledge of Ms Word
  • Intermediate knowledge of Ms Access
  • Fast paced and continually changing network
  • A commitment to work place reorganization

 

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Proficient in IPAIRS-ASA/ACCESS, HSM databases, IIS, MFAS, MCCDS
  • Network background would be an asset
  • Knowledge of outside plant (plans and Bell equipment)
  • Project management experience 

 

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment, hours of operation Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm
