Name and description of the hiring department:
 

The Control Center Team includes members of the Control Center and the field support teams which include the Assignment and Test Centers (voice and cables). Our goal is to organize and distribute the workload to the various installation and repair technician.

 

The associate computer support will act as an intermediary between the system developpers and the users. The associate will need to provide support, create new tools and internal reports.


Job Duties / Accountabilities:
 

  • Work with the lead programmer for development and programming of new systems while ensuring the support and maintenance of the existing tools
  • Conduct independent projects to improve existing tools or develop new ones to meet the company needs
  • Develop new programs and tools and improve existing ones
  • Manage the different servers and the security backup programs


Essential Qualifications / Competencies:
 

  • Good knowledge of web-related languages (HTML / CSS / Javascript)
  • Good knowledge of dynamic web language
  • Good knowledge of object oriented language
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Ability to manage servers under Windows server (scripts, HTTP, SQL and Security)


Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
 

  • NodeJS / Java / MongoDB / ASP / VBscript
  • Business Intelligence Reporting tool (BIRT) - Eclipse Foundation
  • Windows Server 2008
  • SQL server 2008 (SQL, Analysis Services, Linked Server)
  • Sharepoint 2010
  • SVN / Redmine


Working Conditions:

 

  • Monday - Friday from 7h30 till 4pm
  • Possibility of working during weekends and / or overtime
