An integral part of our customer service focus, includes contact centres across Canada supporting all of our Bell Mobility and Bell Residential Services customers. Our  Customer Operations team is responsible for strategy, design and delivery of core call centre tools and processes, including queue strategy, routing, and call monitoring tools.

 

Inter Carrier Services –Western Region; Our team is accountable for issuing inter carrier requests for customer’s voice services.

 

The Associate Provisioning and Activation is tasked with issuing requests to various carriers for voice services. Will be required to maintain accurate internal records via several databases and systems, while also providing updates for internal stakeholders regarding customer requests.

 

Job duties / Accountabilities :

  • Issuing voice requests to various carriers/ LECS
  • Maintain data records ( spreadsheets)
  • Updating and maintaining  internal and Inter carrier records for  customer’s requests
  • Establishes  and maintains  good working relationships with all internal partners at Bell
  • Responds to request and/or inquires on customers’ orders on a timely basis
  • Provides clear communication both verbal and/or  written
  • Takes initiatives to find solutions when faced with a roadblock

 

Essential Skills / Competencies:

  •  Basic Level of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  •  Ability and aptitude to develop and grow additional skills as the business evolves
  •  Positive attitude towards change
  •  Strong verbal and written communications
  •  Strong attention to detail
  •  Able to work effectively in a team environment
  •  Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  •  Able to work in a fast paced environment, dealing with multiple requests

 

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications
  • Telecom and/or voice networking experience preferably with an IXC, CLEC or ILEC
  • Working knowledge of TBS (Metasolv) database
  • Working knowledge of NPAC / SOA system and Request Flow database
  • Knowledgeable in Bell’s Voice

 

Working conditions  :

  • Need to be available to work Monday to Friday between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Work schedule might be changing depending on business needs
  • Overtime as required
