The continued growth and success of the Bell Canada Converged Infrastructure Services delivery team in the marketplace is directly attributed to the expertise and the professionalism of its staff, the trust and confidence of its technology partners and the unrelenting demands it places on itself in pursuit of that most important determining attribute - Customer Satisfaction. Our Professional Services team has an immediate need for a Senior Systems Consultant – Converged Infrastructure Services
The successful candidate will mainly be responsible for leading teams through large, complex Infrastructure engagements in medium to large enterprise environments. Drawing on both technical and business integration acumen, there is the opportunity to interact with and manage relations between both clients and Bell Canada staff. This role requires the design, architecture and deployment of projects with project teams of varying sizes. Also, there is the opportunity to mentor other technical resources as well as learn project management.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will bring Systems/Storage Architecture knowledge in the area of:
- Storage Solutions
- Virtualisation of environment
- Application Domain Controller (ADC)
- Data Center Solutions
- Telecommunication related Solutions
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- 10+ years of successful systems/storage design and integration experience within large corporate server environments.
- Strong knowledge on ADC, (F5 Big-IP ou Citrix Netscaler)
- Develop detailed architecture plans, perform requirements analysis to produce design documents including functional and technical specifications.
- Provide delivery support for infrastructure solutions from initiation through to completion.
- Ability to document problems and solutions that address technical issues.
- Take responsibility for the development of “as built” documentation, detailed test plans and final infrastructure documentation.
- Technical mentoring and coaching to other technical team members.
- Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate technical points to others at the technical, user and management levels.
- Strong Project methodology and the ability to work closely with project managers.
- Superb customer relations and the ability to interact with customers at all levels.
- Willing to attain and maintain technical certifications with our major vendors.
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Implementation experience
- Ability to perform requirements analysis
- Programming and scripting background
Bilingualism is required (English and French)
