The Corporate Security and Responsibility group is part of Corporate Services and provides best practice security solutions to support the organization. Numerous projects must be deployed to enhance the protection of our employees, partners and customers, information, the environment, our network and our operations. The Governance and Records Management group is responsible for program and project governance under Corporate Security and Responsibility, as well as for the corporate Records Management program.
We are seeking a candidate for the position of Specialist, Records Management. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Governance and Records Management, the incumbent will primarily be responsible for the management and evolution of the Records Management program at Bell.
Responsibilities
- Lead evolution from Records Management to Information Governance
- Developing and monitoring delivery of the program plan
- Leading Records Management team members, including planning and performance management
- Managing program budget
- Working with suppliers to manage service levels, resolve issues, negotiate contracts etc.
- Working with internal teams to improve processes and practices related to managing records and information
- Support Records Management Steering committee in decision-making and strategy development
- Work with internal team members to identify and implement records retention requirements
- Leading training and awareness activities for all levels of the organization
- Support taxonomy development activities
- Working with IT partners to implement and improve enterprise content management and electronic records management tools such as SharePoint

Qualifications & experience
- Experience developing and implementing information governance strategy
- Masters of library science or equivalent
- 7+ years experience in the field of corporate records and information management
- At least 3 years of team management experience
- A solid track record of program improvement
- Experience using and providing end user support for SharePoint and other content management tools
- Strong written and spoken English and French
- CIP, CRM or other similar certifications preferred
The incumbent must successfully go through extensive background verifications including but not limited to criminal record and reputational checks.
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
