The Bell Mobility team offers a full range of wireless products and services for residential and business customers, including the largest selection of superphones on the fastest and most advanced network technology.
The National Retail Sales Execution team is seeking a dynamic, innovative and strategic execution manager to lead retail execution for National Retail team to drive wireless acquisition in Bell’s retail partner banners.
Reporting directly to the Director of Retail Execution, the ideal candidate is an experienced manager, with a strong understanding of the wireless industry and demonstrated success in working cross functionally and supporting the account managers. The successful candidate needs to be capable of soliciting feedback from internal teams and retailers, field sales teams, and National Account managers to formulate concepts and retail programs that deliver results. Understanding the big picture is important, but making sure programs are executed within retailer partners will be the main driver.
Working closely with the marketing execution and pricing team, for both Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile, is the candidate will champion retail execution for key National Retail partners. As an advocate for both the Bell and Virgin Mobile brand, driving share growth on the sales floor will be a paramount focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion NR (National Retail) timelines internally securing deliverables (pricing, launch dates, offers) for national retailers in order to leverage retailer assets (flyers) on behalf of the NR team versus individual efforts.
- Create retail event opportunities within each national retail banner to steal share within a multi-carrier environment. Accountable for event creation & execution, offer development, local retailer advertising, field communications & tools.
- Manage and procure 3rd party support during seasonal periods. End to end execution.
- Ensure field readiness for new launches of devices & programs by liaisoning with internal Bell teams (training/marketing/incentives), hardware manufacturers at field level, to ensure the needs of national retail (internal & external) are covered off prior to execution.
- Help gather the right information to create field support tools & streamline communications to deliver mandate on field readiness.
- Identified as National Retail prime to participate in cross functional teams.
- Identify & resolve operational gaps.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience executing retail events with national retailer.
- Experienced in developing integrated marketing/retail programs
- Retail Operations background an asset.
- Marketing Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Natural leadership skills with an ability to motivate others
- Ability to work in a cross functional team at the divisional and corporate level
- Ability to perform with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to get things done by influence
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally & externally at every level of the organization, Senior Executives included.
- University education; MBA an asset
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
