Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
Name and description of the hiring department:
Bell Business Market serves the top Enterprise customers by delivering valued business solutions within public and private sectors including markets such as manufacturing,
transportation, finance/insurance, retail, health and education. The primary solution areas offered are: wired, wireless and cloud infrastructure for voice and data, unified communications, contact centers, security and hosting. The business unit is an established market leader for Enterprise Information Communication Technologies within the Canadian marketplace.
Your accountabilities will be:
- Be responsible of a sale objective and manage the funnel;
- Spearhead the sales for IT solutions & services to clients within several industry verticals;
- Act as a specialized technical leader and mobilize the customer support team, in order to translate the customer’s business needs into solutions and services offered by Bell ( IP Networks and Telecommunications);
- Be responsible for the solution’s design: evaluate business needs, identify any issues, prepare the design and integration of potential solutions, design and determination of the optimal solution, develop detailed equipment list.
- Answer complex RFPs related to convergence and including professional and managed services;
- Maintain high degree of awareness of developments in the Information, Communication and Technology market;
- Pro-actively position Bell professional and managed services;
Your qualifications/ competencies are:
- Bachelors Degree preferably in a business or technical major;
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry more specifically in the following fields: UC, networking and videoconference;
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in one or more vertical markets;
- Proven track record in direct client interaction in a high value and complex IT solution sales role;
- Self-starter, ability to work independently or within a team environment to achieve business goals and objectives;
- Excellent written skills, listening skills and superior oral communications skills;
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills;
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and project management abilities.
Assets for this position are:
- Experience in direct sales of IT solutions;
- Relevant Technology certifications from manufacturers such as Cisco and Avaya;
- Bachelor in engineering
- A positive attitude with dedication and commitment willing to go above and beyond;
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast paced environment
Bilingualism is required (English and French)
