Job Title: Associate Help Desk

Name and description of the hiring department:

CALL CENTER: The Help Desk answers incoming calls on queues. Customers come from Desjardins and the DNCL. These appeals are governed by an average response time.

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

* Responds to requests for information from users and customer complaints taken at the time the calls were received. Opens ticket. Initiate the request for the production of notes and reports at the customer request.
* Evaluate needs and takes action according to the information received upon reception of a call concerning an intervention relative to security (e.g.: deactivation of cards and/or closing of ATM).
* Reports any abnormalities that might hinder operations in order to ensure and improve service quality and productivity.
* Takes part in activities concerning maintenance of various databases if needed.

Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

* At least one (1) year customer service experience. Experience in a call centre and/or a customer service centre.
* Knowledge of Tivoli.
* English (5-5-5) / 5 = Fluent in the language with no significant limitation.
* French (5-5-5) / 5 = Fluent in the language with no significant limitation.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word & Excel.
* Basic knowledge of MS Outlook.
* Knowledge of dealing with clients.
* Good communication skills.
* Autonomy.
* Can work well under pressure.
* Good time management and priority setting skills.
* Serious work attitude.

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

* Knowledge of PC3270, Lotus Notes, Portail EIM, Tanberg.
* Knowledge of telecommunications would be an asset.

Working Conditions:

* Availability 7/24 hours.
* 30 hours, could include up to 37.5 hours/week.
* Most of the work during the evening or week-end, students no vacation during this period.
