JOB PROFILE
As part of the Bell Business Markets Networking Solutions Professional Services team, the Integrator in Unified Communications plays a key role in creating, designing and implementing unified communication solutions (voice and IP) based on business client needs. The successful candidate must have the technical expertise to recommend an integrated solution to clients and internal teams, based on the client’s requirements and applications.
Reporting to the Practice Manager of Networking Solutions – System and Application, the Integrator in Unified Communications will work with the project team to design, configure, validate and execute applications that meet the client’s needs and specifications. The Integrator in Unified Communications will be on top of changes in the industry and have extensive business expertise and demonstrated success in similar business environments. He or she will establish business relationships with clients and his or her Bell network of contacts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Evaluate and understand client needs and ensure the accuracy of information required.
* Design, plan, configure, validate and deploy unified communication (UC) solutions.
* Coordinate the various aspects of a project and complete the required activities.
* Provide technical support, work as part of the team and act as a liaison between the client and multidisciplinary teams.
* Participate in developing proposals with our sales teams.
* Stay at the leading edge of technology in a rapidly changing environment.
* Contribute the Networking Solutions practice development.
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
* Knowledge of voice products: Avaya, Cisco, Mitel.
* Knowledge of emerging network and technology products (voice over IP, LAN/WAN, broadband, Internet).
* Ability to understand technology integration in the client’s environment.
* Clients experience and ability to build solid relationships.
* Ability to align the clients’ business needs and industry trends with Bell corporate objectives.
* Analytical capacity, problem-solving skills, initiative.
* Sense of priorities, organized when multitasking.
* Solid leadership and decision-making skills; self-reliance and creativity.
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
* Bilingual.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
* CCNA certification or other supplier training an asset.
* Knowledge of delivery professional services, customer service, sales.
* Good attendance record, sense of personal development and responsibility.
* Team spirit along with ability to make a personal contribution.
