Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
The Product Manager, Small Business Services will become the “CEO” of one of the Voice, Internet, or TV products used by Canadian Small Businesses. They will have full responsibility for managing the overall product experience and the end-to-end life cycle for their product. This will include managing and delivering a product roadmap which is aligned with all key stakeholders, and influencing key decisions which affect the profit & loss for the product. To deliver on these objectives, the candidate will partner with BBM sales and marketing teams, finance, operations teams, vendors, and other Bell product management teams.
The role:
* Acting as the champion for the product, ensuring that internal teams understand role of the product in the Bell Business Markets portfolio. This will require passion for all core product elements – the core product and feature set, the ordering & billing experience, the installation and repair experience, user guides, etc.
* Delivering on financial objectives, including forecasting and managing demand for the product
* Building and maintaining in-depth understanding of the competitive service offerings and the relative strengths/weaknesses of the Bell product lineup. Contributing these insights towards the development of a product roadmap will help guide long-term investment strategies
* Work with marketing to develop value propositions, sales tools and collateral
* Working as an escalation point for day-to-day issues which may arise from various operational teams. Ensuring recurring or systemic issues are addressed with permanent fixes

Critical Competencies:
* A Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering, completed by the start date.

* Strong customer focus
* Passion for both marketing and technology – ability to translate between the two disciplines.
