Position Description:
Bell Business Markets (BBM) has a requirement for a Senior Project Manager. This position offers working with the latest and most advanced Information Technology products in the exciting and important field of Information Security. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring completion of the assigned infrastructure deployment projects within the budget and timeframe identified.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
* Plan and manage the deployment of the technical infrastructure, ensuring it completes within the budget, time and scope constraints
* Identify and manage dependencies between the deployment project and other projects, functional groups and other corporate organizations
* Lead the resolution of technical problems, organizational and general project issues
* Work directly with external vendors and service providers and manage their project deliverables
* Establish and maintain direct relationship with the customer and the stakeholders
* Use and promote PMBoK based project management practice and provide efficient project communication
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
* A minimum of 5 years of project management experience of complex IT production systems builds
* An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience with the successful completion of project management courses
* PMP certification, or working on obtaining
* Firm understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
* In-depth knowledge of project management tools, best practices and processes
* Demonstrated problem solving, QA, budgeting, tracking and business writing skills
* Highly developed relationship management skills
* Excellent team player with a positive attitude and a passion to deliver
* Desire for continual improvement of processes, and sharing of the best practices
* Tolerance to ambiguity
* Experience working with Government of Canada
* Solid understanding of Security Services
* Must possess and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance at Level II (Secret) or above
* ITIL V3 Certification
* Process improvement
