Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will possess a demonstrated track record in the following areas:
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of local based advertisers to exceed sales quotas with a primary focus on generating new direct business.
- Keen prospecting skills to identify new opportunities, make connections and think strategically.
- Provide client focused creative, effective advertising and marketing solutions through Radio Broadcast and Internet platforms.
- Experience with Business to Business and Business to Consumer marketing and sales solutions.
- Lead clients through the advertising process from initial meeting to implemented Radio and Digital campaign.
- Develop creative multi-platform solutions and consistently find new ways to solve client and market challenges
- Attend and participate in Sales meetings and build positive relationships with all Sales Support functions including Creative Services, Promotions, Traffic and
Accounting.
- Provide superior customer service and support.
- Dedication to applying high ethical standards in business practices.
- Ability to manage account receivables and client records.
- Report progress on development of accounts to the Sales Manager including call and meeting planning when required.
- Represent Bell Media with Passion, Imagination, Integrity, Agility and Excellence.

Skill requirements:
- Education and/or experience in sales and marketing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in media sales or related industry. Radio and Digital experience is an asset.
- A self-starter with a proven track record of sales success
- Highly disciplined, self-motivated and results driven
- Creative thinker and problem solver with strong organizational skills
- A team player with an enthusiastic and energetic disposition
- Experience in sourcing clients, networking and cold calling for new business
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Aptitude and ability to absorb and apply analytical data
- Computer literate and has a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Experience with AirWare an asset.
- Must enjoy a fast paced work environment that is based on team and individual effort
- A valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle

Location:260 Richmond Street West, Toronto
Salary: Commissioned Sales, Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week - Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to meet project deadlines or client events
