The Bell Business Markets (BBM) Professional Services delivery team is the consulting arm of Bell Canada Enterprise responsible for the design, execution and implementation of solutions for the Enterprise customer market.

Our Professional Services delivery team has an immediate need for a Technical Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) Solutions Consultant.

Job Description

The successful candidate will mainly be responsible for participating in the integrating Security Solutions engagements in medium to large Enterprise environments. Drawing on both technical and business integration acumen, there is the opportunity to interact with and manage relations between both clients and Bell Canada staff. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for the hands-on implementation of the technical components of the security solutions in concert with project teams of various sizes.

The candidate responsibilities will include;

* Leading the customer requirements definition with a focus on Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) solutions for multiple concurrent projects.
* Defining/validating SIEM security requirements for various types of Security Solutions.
* Participating in the planning and implementation of SIEM Solutions meeting customer requirements.
* Documenting user requirements and performing requirements analysis, producing use cases documents, etc. using known tools such as MS Excel and MS Visio.
* Contributing to continuous growth of the Security Solutions practice through mentorship, identification of new opportunities and development of SIEM solutions.

Critical Qualifications/Competencies

* A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated hands-on experience in designing and implementing HP ArcSight SIEM Solutions within large Enterprise environments.
* SIEM experience may include, but not limited to:
* Providing guidance on Enterprise SIEM solutions
* Defining Enterprise SIEM solution requirements
* Installing and configuring SIEM software for Enterprise solutions
* Using the SIEM solution console to investigate security incidents at an Enterprise level.
* Defining use cases for perimeter security at an Enterprise level.
* Defining use cases for advanced persistent threats at an Enterprise level.
* Defining use cases for insider threats at an Enterprise level.
* Developing / Validating SIEM use cases at an Enterprise level.
* Developing False-positive filters at an Enterprise level.
* Developing daily and monthly SIEM reports including content.
* Supporting SIEM administrative content (i.e. access rights, rules, dashboard, health and performance monitoring) at an Enterprise level
* Architecting SIEM systems/components (i.e. architectural decision, component deployment) at an Enterprise level
* SIEM performance management (i.e. problem identification, resolving issues) at an Enterprise level.
* Providing investigative guidance to SIEM Operators.

* Security Clearance issued by the Government of Canada upon start date.
* Willing to attain and maintain certifications with our major SIEM vendors. i.e. HP ArcSight.
* Experience in capturing detailed security requirements.
* Experience in participating in the definition and implementation a Security Solutions roadmap.
* Ability to resolve and document technical issues that arise during the Security Solutions implementation.
* Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills in English.
* Able to communicate use cases details to others at the technical, user and management levels.
* Strong Project methodology and ability to work closely with program managers.
* Superb customer relations and the ability to interact with customers at all levels.
* Strong Networking skills
* Ability to gain management support and work effectively at all levels across the organization and across department
* Team oriented, with extensive experience in working in complex technical projects
* Autonomous and ability to accept responsibility with minimal supervision
* Willingness to travel occasionally within North America

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies

* Bachelor or specialized college degree in Computer Science, System Engineering or another related IT program
* Secret Security Clearance or higher issued by the Government of Canada upon start date.
* HP ArcSight certification i.e. AESA or MASE
* Professional designation and certification such as CISSP, PMP, etc.
* Experience in participating in the recommendation of security best practices for implementation of IT Security projects.
* Bilingual: English and French an asset.
