The Role:

Reporting to the Associate Director, Diversity & Inclusion, the successful candidate will be part of the small group responsible for the development and execution of Bell’s inclusive workplace strategy. You would be joining the Organizational Development team who are responsible for the end-to-end leadership of talent management, employee engagement and talent acquisition initiatives across Bell’s 50,000+ workforce.

The successful candidate will assist the head of diversity and inclusion identify, develop and execute key strategies based on emerging trends in the workforce, partnering across HR and with business leaders to attract, develop and retain a highly talented, agile, diverse and customer centric workforce. Key accountabilities include supporting Bell’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), overseeing the diversity communications strategy and working closely with the metrics team to understand the changing demographic makeup of Bell’s workforce.

Communications Development:

Support the Talent Management team in the design and development of Bell’s strategic communication plan to expand diversity awareness, increase overall employee engagement and promote customer outreach; as well as in the planning of key initiatives, campaigns and tactics that are practical, scalable, sustainable, impactful and integrated with other key Bell priorities.

Data & Metrics:

Partner with the Bell HR Metrics team to analyze demographic data and routinely review across multiple levels to support corporate reporting, strategic reviews, including Bell’s Diversity Leadership Council (DLC), and business unit leadership meetings. Respond to ad-hoc diversity analytics requests from client groups.

Employee Resource Groups:

Support national ERGs including Women at Bell and the LGBT Affinity Network through supporting key communications and events and act as a key point of contact into HR for support and governance.

Membership:

Help manage external relationships with diversity stakeholders to attain maximum ROI for Bell; partner with Community Affairs to support diversity-related community partnerships and sponsorships.

Reporting:

Partner with Employment Equity, Corporate Responsibility, Employee Engagement and other key stakeholder groups to submit required documentation, applications and reports.

Critical Competencies:

* Post-secondary education required, post-graduate degree an asset
* Minimum of 5 years work experience with mid-sized to large enterprises
* Project management and analytical experience
* Excellent, advanced skills in using PowerPoint and Excel
* Be a positive, organized and motivated individual
* Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple conflicting priorities
* Strong ability to partner with cross functional teams
* Experience in corporate diversity and inclusion desirable
* English/French bilingualism, an asset
