Position: Revenue Analyst, Revenue Management
Provide specialized expertise to the Revenue Management department through extensive market knowledge including, but not limited to: audience forecasting, market pricing,inventory management and schedule changes
Responsibilities:
- Primary function is to assist the Revenue Manager in maximizing revenue. The Analyst serves as a contact and information provider for sales executives and station inventory clearance.
- Development and maintenance of audience forecasts and the maintenance of our pricing and level of sale systems for commercial inventory.
- Working with the Revenue Manager, the incumbent is responsible for rate manipulations and will monitor changes in level of sale, rating performance, and market conditions as key indicators for rate change. Provide reports and analyses relating to audience, inventory, and revenue for various departments within Bell Media.
- Work with Sales teams in the approving of media deals as it relates to inventory mix, rate concessions and dollar volume.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience within the Broadcast and/or Media industry.
- Strong comprehension of the Broadcast and/or Media industry, emphasising knowledge in BBM, market conditions, CPR’s and CPM’s.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent computer background, decision making skills, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize, and work under the pressure of constant deadlines and last minute revisions.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately. Ability to work comfortably on a team in a fairly independent position.
- Post secondary education is required.
- Experience working with IBMS, Rep Pak, and Infosys would be an asset.
