Includes corporate and operational finance, internal teams support, the controllers group, internal audit and risk advisory services, taxation, treasury, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions.

Within the Bell Business Markets Finance group, the financial analyst plays a critical role in financial management and reporting. We are looking for a dynamic and responsible self-starter, who is detail-oriented and can work collaboratively with others. The candidate will be responsible for financial support of Bell Business Market Large & MID sales team and will perform financial analyses; planning and forecasting; prepare and review management reports on revenue results.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

* Working closely with the business to understand and evaluate key business processes and trends, ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results/metrics that incorporate the business story in the variance analysis.
* Perform all functions relating to month end financial analysis, including billing accruals, anomaly investigation, account reconciliations and journal entries.
* Assisting with forecasting and budgeting
* Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting of Revenues.
* Perform adhoc analysis & special reports for senior management to support decision making and the resolution of issues
* Recommend and implement “process improvement” within the finance team, identifying areas of overlap and potential efficiency gains

Critical Competencies:

* Strong knowledge of Excel
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
* 3 years of financial/accounting experience
* Strong problem solving skills and resourceful
* Strong leadership and communication/presentation skills
* Highly motivated, proactive professional with ability to adapt to a complex and quickly changing environment.
* Experience managing finance projects

Preferred Competencies:

* Accounting designation or working towards (CA, CMA or CGA)
* Knowledge of SAP/BI
* Good understanding of revenue recognition principles
* Flexible schedule during quarter/year end periods.
