The Information Technology team develops and maintains Bell’s internal systems and applications while also developing integrated technology solutions for customers across all lines of business. The team manages Bell’s IT Infrastructure and the service availability of over 700 applications, including mission critical billing and service systems. The IT delivery teams drive the IT Work Program with over 60% of IT capital invested in initiatives that support business unit priorities and Bell’s strategic imperatives.
Key Responsibilities:
The Bell Media IT team is responsible for building new capabilities to support internal business groups and to deliver the best client experience. We do this with a team of highly performing project managers, business analysts, technical experts, and quality assurance testers.
The team manages the software delivery life cycle from Business Requirements documentation, System Requirements Specifications, Process mapping through the various phases of analysis, design, development, testing, deploying, normalization, and training. With a scope that extends end-to-end across Media, managing change through each phase is a critical component to our success.
This particular role is focused on developing proactive strategies to monitor and expedite system workflow between business units.

* Collect and evaluate data from multiple sources
* Work closely with clients to write Business and Systems Requirements documentation
* Acquire deep knowledge of business processes, systems and their interdependencies to drive improved efficiencies and effective changes and identify all areas of impact to Bell Media
* Develop and document System Requirements Specification
* Understand technical designs and specifications and comply to architecture models (use cases, conceptual, logical, interfaces)
* Identify, evaluate and document operational changes to improve information and processing systems
* Facilitate and drive the technical resolution of issues arising from changes to scope, requirements, or design
* Review and evaluate the vendor’s work deliverables (SDS), to ensure the System Requirements are met
* Work with vendors to elaborate on alternatives to satisfy the System Requirements
* Maintain productive professional client relationships
* Support the development of the test plan and test cases including defining test conditions, negative testing and regression
* Provide input to Risk Management Plan, Change Management Plan , Quality Assurance Plan, and Deployment Plan
* Analyze and lead development of system solutions to track activities throughout end-to-end enterprise applications.
Required Competencies:
* A Bachelor degree in an area such as IT, information systems, computer science, or engineering
To be successful in this role, you must:
* Have experience in SDLC and project management lifecycle comprehension and related practices and methodologies
* Have strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to listen, understand, and respond both appropriately and effectively
* Have the ability to use different means to explain or present technical information to a variety of audiences (technical and nontechnical) in a clear, accurate and understandable manner
* Have a high aptitude for understanding information systems technology
* Be a strong team player; ability to facilitate, negotiate and work within a multi-domain team environment
* Flexibility, able to work in an environment where change is prevalent
* Ability to effectively negotiate and positively influence decision making to drive change
* A high tolerance to ambiguity
* Highly self-motivated and self-directed with a strong attention to detail. Must possess the ability to prioritize and organize one’s own workload to meet tight deadlines
Preferred competencies:
* Skills in business process modelling and business process documentation
* Experience process mapping cross systems flows
* Experience in a similar environment through co-op terms or summer jobs
* Knowledge of the telecommunications and/or media industry
* Familiarity with programming languages is highly recommended
* Ability to efficiently work in virtual teams, handling multiple projects and aggressive timelines
