Name and description of the hiring department:
The Finance Operations team provides ongoing financial and analytical support to the Bell Canada operations team. The Operations organization is accountable for field services, provisioning and the network infrastructure that support the Consumer, Small-Medium Business, Enterprise segments, and network connectivity for Bell West.
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
* Analyze, identify, isolate and solve system problems (databases, web applications, etc.) and coordinate with all stakeholders;
* Manage requests to modify applications based on specific user requirements;
* Maintain or modify application/servers based on specific user/technical requirements;
* Test and validate system enhancements to identify roadblocks prior to implementation;
* Perform and/or coordinate testing, determine and validate test data, and document testing outcomes;
* Answers end user requests and provides application support.
Essential Qualifications / Competencies:
* Broad experience in software design, analysis, architecture and development of Web applications;
* Expertise in relational database modeling for MSSQL and in the administration of its server;
* Expertise in Object-oriented programming (OOP), Model-view-controller (MVC), UML, Agile methods, and at least one source code management system (e.g. Git);
* Expertise with the following programming languages: ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL (MSSQL), jQuery, HTML and CSS;
* Knowledge of .NET technologies and Entity Framework;
* Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access;
* Bilingual (French 5-5-5 & English 5-5-5) - Fluent in the language with no significant limitation
* CEGEP Computer Science Diploma 3 years Career Program (or equivalent work experience)
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
* Understanding of SAP P50 Enterprise PS, PEATS and BI;
* Autonomy;
* Ability to face Ambiguity;
* Able to work with short delays;
* Able to adapt quickly to changes (flexibility);
* High sense of organization.
* Bachelor’s degree in Software engineering (or equivalent)
Working Conditions:
* Will be asked to work with people in different levels of hierarchy;
* Fast paced environment and frequent changes in priorities;
* Working schedule 5/5.
