The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace. The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.
We are looking for a talented, high energy team member to join our Bell Residential Services (BRS) Base Marketing group as a Base Marketing Specialist. The Base Marketing team develops strategy and manages the implementation of marketing campaigns to deliver against revenue and subscriber targets for the Internet, Home Phone and Television portfolios, including our hero product – Fibe TV.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager – Base Marketing, and will work cross-functionally with partners throughout the Bell organization including: Marketing Communications, Online/Bell.ca, Take to Market/Channel, Integrated Marketing Scientifics (IMS), Pricing, Retention and Operations.
We are looking for a strategic thinker who is well versed in the principles of marketing, passionate about learning and possesses strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiating skills. The position is located in Toronto.
Position Description:
The Base Marketing team is seeking an innovative, creative and dynamic Specialist to develop and execute base marketing programs, including the price increase campaign strategy. The right candidate must be comfortable managing relationships in cross functional teams, as well as analyzing campaign results to develop marketing strategies and make recommendations to the senior leadership team.
The ideal candidate has marketing, project management, channel, and product experience. In an ever-changing and dynamic environment, they need to be flexible, have strong time management skills and be capable of balancing multiple projects simultaneously with short deadlines for completion. They are detail oriented, strategic and analytical with the ability to think outside the box.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop price increase campaign strategy and drive execution of cross functional team
* Plan and execute quarterly good news communications, product education initiatives and other customer engagement campaigns
* Drive implementation of various base management initiatives
* Campaign ideation: interpret campaign results and identify opportunities to improve performance
* Manage end to end marketing strategy and flawless execution of base marketing campaigns
* Create compelling and strategic marketing presentations to obtain buy-in and alignment across key stakeholders
* Track, analyze and report weekly results, while monitoring overall campaign performance
* Actively contribute to the overall marketing planning cycle
Key Competencies:
* University degree in a business discipline with a minimum of 2-3 years experience
* Proven ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and generate insight and action
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Effective interpersonal skills, with ability to get things done by influence
* Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong sense of autonomy and initiative
* Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
* Flexible and able to comfortably operate in an ever-evolving and changing market environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of players in the telecommunications industry and competitive landscape
* Previous experience with marketing strategy and communications
* Comfortable working in a virtual team environment
* Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
