Bell is currently seeking a candidate for the position of Senior Security Analyst – Information Security Protection Centre. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Security Protection Centre, the primary focus for the position is to perform digital forensic services to support investigations. The key accountabilities for this position include protection, acquisition and analysis of electronic evidence. Writing concise and timely examination reports and presentation of case updates and findings in a professional, concise, confident and timely manner are also key accountabilities. The forensic examiner position requires the highest levels of professional integrity. The ability to protect confidential information and operate within all policies, procedures and work instructions is a must.
Responsibilities:
* Performing forensic grade acquisitions of various types of computing equipment including but not limited to Laptops, Desktops, Servers, Mobile devices, Storage and Virtual Environments
* Maintaining security controls and chain of custody of electronic evidence
* Performing forensic analysis and artifact recovery various operating systems including but not limited to Windows, Mac, iOS, Linux, Android as well as software applications and log analysis
* Ability to use software such as Guidance Software’s Encase, and hardware such as Write Blockers
* Participate in, initiate and refine Enterprise Incident Response procedures for Malware Forensics and reverse engineering
* Providing support for internal technology projects to assess risk from an evidence collection/recovery standpoint and to govern the requirements for Incident Response
* Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
* Document analysis results, produce report and present to technical and executive stakeholders.
* Participate and contribute to the various activities of the Corporate Security Information Protection group, such as cyber threat intelligence and incident response support.
Required qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in technology-related field, or in computer science with a specialization in telecommunications, or the equivalent.
* Seven (7) years’ experience in information security
* In depth knowledge of operating systems, computer architecture, networking protocols and security technologies.
* In depth knowledge of network-based and host-based artifacts analysis, malware decompilation and forensics.
* In-depth knowledge and experience with and standards such as, ISO 27002,17799, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, PCI, ISF and others
* The following certifications are an asset: EnCE, GREM, CISSP, GCFA, CCFP
* Sound document writing skills
* Good knowledge of common office tools.
* Ability to communicate in French is an asset
* Existing Secret clearance or ability to obtain is preferred

* The successful candidate must successfully go through extensive background verifications including but not limited to criminal record and reputational checks
* All Security personnel are required to sign a letter of non-disclosure which prevents them from divulging sensitive information that they may be exposed to during their assignment. This policy is strictly enforced.
