Position :
ON-AIR EVENING HOST- VIRGIN RADIO 96
(Permanent full-time position)
On-Air shift:
Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 11pm & Hosting weekly 2 hour countdown show.
Reports to:
Program Director
Responsibilities :
* Delivering a creative, fun, tight, and spontaneous show that fits the target audience of Virgin Radio 96;
* Preparing relevant content for each on-air shift as scheduled and as per station target;
* Creating compelling, snackable, and targeted on-line content;
* Making public on-site appearances;
* Participating in commercial production;
* Preparing and recording voice track shifts when required.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 year on-air experience;
* Love for pop culture and music;
* Must be creative and innovative;
* Must be able to relate to, and embrace the lifestyle of CHR audience;
* Excellent organizational skills;
* Superior production skills, including great phone call editing skills;
* Superior knowledge of multiplatform & digital media (Blogging, social media, SMS);
* Very team oriented, positive, friendly manner that will allow you to deal with challenging situations;
* Passionate, detail oriented and goal oriented;
* Able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines;
* English mandatory, French an asset;
