Salary:Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work: Full Time. Overtime as required
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain agenda and activities focused on addressing deficiencies for facilities and equipment groups as assigned
- Work under the direction of the Manager Maintenance Engineering to address items on a prioritized schedule
- Monitor and track all reports related to assigned facilities and equipment groups and provide feedback as required in most timely fashion
- Provide coordinating support and direct communication with field technicians as required in order to address ongoing deficiencies and/or potential facility upgrades
- Provide coordinating attention for the routine service of production facilities adhering to identified agenda items for each instance and ensuring necessary resources are in place
- Consistently identify, update and communicate inventory status and recent activities related to changes or updates for assigned facilities
- Liaise with Fleet Department in planning maintenance opportunities and maintain most up to date status for weight compliance.
- Liaise and coordinate with Engineering Administrator on the reporting and processing for vendor orders, invoice processing, and most up to date status for service requests
- Maintain daily status for facilities and associated inventory and communicate any changes directly with Scheduling Department and Technical Support Group
Qualifications:
- Recognized certificate for applied technology or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory/lead role
- Effective skills in communicating issues, impact and resolution steps
- Ability for ensuring best balance for value vs excellence in overall results
- Strong understanding of remote sports and entertainment productions and the terminology/language commonly used in providing technical services
- Ability to effectively multitask in a time sensitive environment to address issues and ensure completion
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Ability to travel within North America
- Must hold a valid Canadian drivers license
- Required to work weekdays, evenings and/or weekends as assigned
- Must be critical in evaluating vendor services and labour results
