The Bell Mobility wireless network team designs, builds and operates Canada’s Best Network.

Information on Division/Hiring Department:

This position is required within the Access Network Planning team. The selected candidate will work with various teams within Bell Mobility Services.

Responsibilities will include:

Develop long term strategy and create build plan for the assigned territory (18 month - 3 year view)

* Determine program priorities and capital allocation
* Perform financial analysis and site justifications
* Prepare necessary documentation and presentations to support the strategic planning decisions and recommendations

In order to fill the above responsibilities the candidate will have to:

* Seek Business input to influence long term strategy
* Understand competitive threat and impact on the strategy
* Understand Bell Mobility’s coverage needs which implies working closely with the RF Design teams
* Analyze future urban development and align build plan to provide coverage and capacity proactively
* Work with external partners

Required competencies/essential skills:

* Bachelor degree in electrical engineering with telecommunications background
* Minimum 7 years experience (10 years without a bachelor degree) in wireless telecommunications including 3 years as an RF designer
* Solid knowledge of CDMA or GSM and HSPA/LTE technologies
* Demonstrated analytical, technical, organizational and planning skills combined with strategic thinking
* Capacity to make decisions and assumes responsibility over projects
* Proven interpersonal and leadership skills with a passion for results
* Self-sufficient and strong ability to adapt to changes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
* Demonstrated proficiency with MS Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MapInfo

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

* Proficiency with RF prediction tool (Planet EV)
* Project Management experience and good understanding of Six Sigma Methodology
* Bilingualism (French and English)
