The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.
The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.
Job Title- Trainer/Quality Support Representative
Name and description of the hiring department:
The BRS channel is presently recruiting an experienced Quality Support Representative/Trainer for support through the training of new offers, products and pricing launches. The candidate will support the Field Sales channel by executing programs that enable Bell to maximize potential revenues from the sale and promotion of Bell TV, Internet and Home Phone services, while interfacing with multiple cross functional partners.
Job duties / Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the following:
* Provide training on various topics- (i.e. communication of offers, price changes, new products, etc.) to new hires and existing employees.
* Liaise with the retail team to oversee the design portion for new offers and training manuals.
* Territories include OR, QR and ROC (periodic channel visits).
* Monitoring and evaluating quality standards within the Field Sales Channel.
* Recommending and implementing long-term solutions to improve overall channel performance.
* Liaise with various internal offer/product teams to obtain project information
* Identifying insights for cancelled orders
* Contact customers of cancelled orders to proactively seek out opportunities to improve customer service and attempt to recover the sale.
* Conduct detailed and extensive research and analysis on internal and vendor results using a variety of methods such as data mining, call listening and process adherence monitoring.
* Regularly audit internal and vendor processes to ensure adherence to channel expectations.
* Ad hoc requests where required.
Essential skills / Competencies:
The successful candidate must have:
* Strong leadership, training and coaching skills
* The ability to effectively handle multiple, high priority tasks, at the same time
* Strong and confident, an independent thinker
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
* Exceptional time management skills
* Exceptional project management and organizational skills
* Demonstrated ability to develop an environment which inspires employee involvement and teamwork
* PC Proficient - MS Office, Windows environment
* Experience in an outbound call center atmosphere is considered an asset.
* Strong decision making, problem solving and negotiation skills.
Preferred skills / Competencies:
* Previous management experience
* Strong interpersonal skills - someone who thrives in a fast paced environment
* Strong knowledge of Bell's ordering, installation and billing systems and processes
