Responsibilities:
- Coordination of production requirements for all studio production (studios, control rooms, staffing schedules, avid and harris editing, crews).
- Managing staffing requirements for productions. Long term planning of staffing requirements.
- Prepare detailed program budgets for productions including cash flows, financial statements and budgetary forecasts
- Monitoring and authorizing production expenditures
- Thorough and accurate coding, cost reporting and reconciling actuals of the overall budgets
- Set-up and maintain administrative infrastructure to ensure proper flow of budget information, contract administration, and reconciling of costs
- Travel and remote location production managing as required
- Negotiating with Broadcasters to encourage cooperation and cost savings
- Other production duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 Years Broadcast Production experience. Front line production experience will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of general accounting principals
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines of several simultaneous duties, while maintaining focus and composure
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and take initiative
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent computer skills – Word, Excel, outlook and PowerPoint
