The Bell Mobility team offers a full range of wireless products and services for residential and business customers, including the largest selection of superphones on the fastest and most advanced network technology.
The Bell Mobility Carrier Relations team is a small dynamic group that is focused on Bell’s goal of becoming Canada’s leading telecommunications company through its strategic partner relationships within the Canadian wireless landscape. From negotiating strategic agreements, participating in CRTC and Industry Canada proceedings, to leading integration projects, managing financial cash flows and partnering with network operations, the Carrier Relations team is the central hub in administering and facilitating these external partnerships to further Bell Mobility’s interests. The role that the Carrier Relations team play is critical to Bell’s success in the Canadian wireless market.
As Sr. Manager Carrier Relations, you will advance Bell’s strategic imperatives through collaboration with key external partners while supporting internal business requirements. The role will be instrumental in improving and fulfilling Bell Mobility’s growth through the successful development and management of wholesale relationships. The individual will drive alignment with the overall corporate strategy and advance future wireless opportunities through strategic engagement with partners. The successful candidate will provide thought leadership and act as an important resource to executing Bell’s strategic imperatives. You will work to identify areas of growth, cost reduction enablement or strategic opportunities for the organization to ensure Bell’s competitive advantage moving forward. A strong understanding and knowledge in CRTC and Industry Canada policy is essential to effectively manage business affairs relating spectrum, network sharing, roaming and ongoing regulatory proceedings and mandates.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners while supporting internal stakeholders
- Identify new opportunities that can significantly improve Bell’s market position
- Negotiate strategic agreements.
- Address disputes with external partners
- Work with cross functional teams to define and address IT projects, and communicate these projects to affected parties
- Lead cross functional initiatives
- Prepare Business case studies as required
- Support annual Bell Mobility strategic and business planning process
- Support key M&A/Corporate Development initiatives
- Develop, communicate and execute long term strategies related to business requirements.

- Strategy creation/development
- Extensive knowledge of wireless communications industry in Canada
- CRTC/Industry Canada wireless policies
- Negotiations
- External relations management
- Internal organization partnerships
- Financial management (business case assessment)
