Responsibilities: 
• Assist engineering Manager
• Responsible for critical audio, on-air systems, automation software and network 
        Configuration.
• Implementation of new technology and strategies
• Work in unison with all departments to insure that all technology systems run with
        the highest reliability rate possible and develop efficiencies where possible 
• Assist in managing the most vital components in the broadcast chain
• Assist end-users to achieve the most effective use of their resources
• Flexibility of schedule in response to emergency repairs
• On-call duties


Qualifications: 
• Electronic Technology diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution;
• 1-3 years of radio engineering/IT experience
• Experience setting up and running remote broadcasts using ISDN and POTS codec equipment.
• Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and handle the tools necessary to repair studio/transmitter equipment;
• Effective oral and written communications skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Some evening and week-end shift hours
• Travel within region required to assist with station maintenance
