The Hardware and Planning team is seeking a dynamic and passionate Product Analyst.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
- Evaluate mobile device handsets and make strategic roadmap recommendations for Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile brands
- Understand and make recommendations on mobile technologies such as displays, wireless charging, modems, mobile payments
- Support senior management with strategic projects and analysis of data request
- Interact and maintain an optimal balance between technical, marketing, channel and finance groups
- Work with OEMs to secure volume incentive and sell through credits and ensure accurate tracking
- Work with Channel marketing teams to ensure strategic prioritization and merchandizing of handsets
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- University degree with a Business, Engineering, Marketing, Finance and/or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Marketing or Finance
- Good knowledge of the evolving competitive telecom environment
- Understanding of wireless carrier spectrum and Carrier aggregation an asset
- Understanding of wireless technologies such as RCS, VoLTE/ViLTE/VoWIFI and asset
- Experience in strategy development, negotiations and planning
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Experience and ability to present business cases to executives
- Strong business and financial acumen
