Associate Marketing Director – Music & Entertainment

Location: 299 Queen Street

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.

 

Responsibilities:

•Lead the development of the marketing strategy and plan for Bell Media’s Music and Entertainment portfolio including E!, M3, MTV and Much
• Work with the Research team to provide strategic market intelligence to inform marketing plans
• Work within the Bell Media Agency and cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing and promotional campaigns
•Work with internal promo planning and media buying teams to optimize the marketing mix for key priorities
• Develop and execute a Social Media plan to extend reach and engagement among viewers and fans
• Work with cross-functional teams to track, measure and report on campaign results
• Lead the annual planning process for the Music & Entertainment marketing team
• Manage a team of motivated Marketers
•Manage budgets, expenses, and ensure operational/administrative excellence
•Other marketing duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

•      7-10 years of marketing strategy and project management experience
•      University/College education in marketing or related field is an asset
•      Minimum 5 years of experience managing direct reports
•      Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams
•      Traditional marketing management and marketing research background are assets
•      Strong organizational and multi-tasking management skills
•      Brings subject matter expertise and high awareness to the constantly evolving Digital/Social Media space
•      Ability to think both strategically and tactically
