The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.  The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.

 

We are looking for a talented, high energy team member to join our Bell Residential Services (BRS) Acquisition marketing group as Marketing Program Specialist. Information on Division/Hiring Department/Career Opportunity:

 The Acquisition Marketing Team develops strategy and manages the implementation of marketing campaigns to deliver against subscriber targets for Internet, Home Phone and Television portfolios, including our hero product – Fibe TV.   

 

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager – Acquisition Marketing, Fibe TV, and will work cross-functionally with partners throughout the Residential Services organization including: Marketing Communications, Field, Online/Bell.ca, Take to Market/Channel, Integrated Marketing Scientifics (IMS) as well as various direct sales channels.  We are looking for a strategic thinker who is well versed in the principles of marketing, passionate about learning, and possess strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiating skills.  . 

 

Position Description:

Lead the development, implementation and analysis of end-of-end marketing campaigns that target prospective customers for Bell Canada residential products. Includes campaigns across all Bell channels and tactics including direct mail, e-mail, outbound telemarketing, online marketing, retail, plus various grassroots activities leveraging the entire residential services portfolio.

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

  • Drive Fibe TV, Internet, and Home Phone acquisition growth in key segments by playing a quarterback role from project conception all the way to post implementation
  • Campaign Ideation: Interpret marketing and customer data to identify opportunities to grow BRS product market share
  • Continuously look for ways to optimize current programs and/or to drive efficiencies
  • Actively contribute to the overall marketing planning cycle
  • Create compelling and strategic marketing presentations to obtain buy-in and alignment across key campaign stakeholders
  • Campaign Execution: work cross-functionally with Offer and Pricing, IMS, Channel Take-to-Market, Marketing Communications, and various sales channels to bring campaigns to market
  • Campaign Analysis: weekly, ad hoc and post mortem campaign results analysis
  • In-Market Analysis: site visits to the various channels to monitor program implementation

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • University degree in Marketing and/or Business Administration
  • 2-3 years experience running marketing programs (preferably in large organizations)
  • Proven ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively
  • Analytical skills: Ability to quantify and analyze customer data and provide meaningful insights along with recommendations.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills – comfortable working with various channel partners and leading project teams
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong sense of autonomy and initiative
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Flexible and able to comfortably operate in an ever-evolving & changing market environment

 

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Knowledge of players in the telecommunications competitive landscape
  • Previous experience with marketing strategy and communications
  • Comfortable in working in a virtual team environment
  • Bilingual (French / English) an asset
