The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace. The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.
This is a terrific opportunity for professionals interested in direct (print and digital) marketing communications that deliver results. A position within the direct marketing communications team now exists within Bell Residential Services – responsible for bringing the best in leading edge TV, Internet and home phone technology and entertainment to Canadian consumers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of direct marketing strategies and campaigns that will contribute to Bell’s goal to be recognized by customers as Canada’s leading communications company.
You will need to partner closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Market Research, Brand, Legal, and Finance as well as external creative and fulfillment agencies to drive the success of various campaigns.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
Responsibilities:
- Work with marketing to understand their objectives and build strategic direct tactics to meet those objectives
- Work with our creative agency to develop direct marketing communications and plans to bring the direct communications strategy to life
- Manage program budgets to ensure that revenue generating goals and call centre targets are met
- Work with agency and marketing primes to track campaigns and provide analysis to continually improve communication strategies
- Other activities as necessary to support our Marketing Communication team.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- Diploma/degree in Communications, Marketing, or related discipline
- Bilingual (French & English) oral/written skill is essential
- Have a strong understanding of marketing communications principles
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills - Ability to build and foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong direct response marketing skills (print and digital)
- Strong creative, communication and interpersonal skills
- Pays attention to details
- Strong data and database understanding,
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Agency experience is an asset
