The Role:
The Bell Mobility Mobile Devices & Logistics organization is responsible for managing device strategy, new product introduction, customer support, repair, warranty, trade-in, recycling, supply chain and inventory management. The successful candidate will play a critical role supporting a significant business transformation program developing a state of the art Supply Chain & Logistics business model built upon a solid foundation of business analysis.
Responsibilities:
The Project Management Office provides guidance, support and leadership for business transformation initiatives focusing on customer experience, process efficiency, and cost savings.
As a member of the Project Management Office, the Business Analyst primary responsibilities include:
* Lead and facilitate business challenges and opportunities utilizing a consultative approach
* Liaise with cross functional teams, subject matter experts, technology, vendors, project managers and various levels of management and non-management resources
* Illustrate end to end work flows through process and system mapping
* Elicit and document clearly defined business requirements that accurately reflect stakeholder needs
* Ensure traceability of solutions to requirements
* Facilitate and provide business impact analysis including risks assessments
* Support testing and change management requirements
Key Competencies:
* Ability to identify business requirements and create or participate in the design of process solutions
* Experienced and disciplined in the approach of creating, improving and documenting requirements and processes and applying leadership skills to take appropriate action
* Skilled in project management best practices including stakeholder analysis and management, meeting facilitation, minutes, action items, risks, mitigation planning, and effective coordination of resource expectations
* Strong influencing, negotiation and risk management skills
* Demonstrated process design skills including workflow mapping, step action documentation, user acceptance, sanity testing using scenarios and detailed scripts
* Excellent communication and presentation skills (clear & precise verbal / written)
* Broad understanding of financial management principles
* Effective leadership and management skills under pressure within aggressive timelines while maintaining attention to details, quality, prioritization and change management requirements
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project
Preferred Qualifications:
* University degree, college diploma and or related work experience
* 5 years of business analyst experience in the mobile telecommunications industry
* Experience with sales, order management, supply chain and financial systems
* Business Analyst Certification, Six Sigma, Project Management
