Responsibilities:
Entertainment Specialty Digital is seeking a creative and experienced manager to lead our multi-channel network. The manager will lead a team of coordinators and work collaboratively with our digital team, as well as members of the sales, brand partnerships and marketing teams (in addition to other internal stakeholders). The ideal candidate has experience in multi-channel network management and strategy, as well as content creation and digital video distribution. This position requires a confident leader with strong management skills who is keen to be immersed in a collaborative, team-based environment, and is excited to contribute to innovation and success in our organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for managing talent partnerships and audience growth, including developing and securing content creators
- Develop tiered categorization of content creators, to both nurture emerging talent and leverage higher-impact talent as needed
- Maintain active awareness and participation in digital video distribution and content creation, with a specific focus on multi-channel networks
- Establish and maintain best practices for YouTube platform and analytics
- Manage team of coordinators to fulfill overall business objectives
- Collaborate with key stakeholder departments to drive success
- Identify Sales and Brand Partnership opportunities to drive revenue
- Work with sales and brand partnerships to develop integration concepts, and work with key content creators to integrate partnerships and sponsorships
- Lead the implementation, with content coordinators, of sponsorships and brand partnerships and track/measure success
- Maintain content strategy and calendar in alignment with overall brand and Bell Media editorial roadmap
Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in digital media with an equivalent university degree
- Digital product management and project management experience an asset
- Expertise with YouTube platform and analytics, and overall experience with analytics software
- Familiarity with digital platforms and development, and knowledge of publishing to multiple digital platforms
- Experience with content creation, creator management, audience development and programming strategies
- Experience with online advertising and brand-partnered content
- Excellent leadership skills, communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for media, digital content, and content creation and distribution
- Highly organized, self-motivated and efficient
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure, deadline oriented environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent connectivity in the digital media world, ideally with strong relationships across YouTube and the industry
