The capital finance team is responsible for the management of investment budgets for the Wireline network. We are in search of a finance manager who will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and explanation of results as well as reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams such as project management, finance; will have a great sense of autonomy and management skills.
Job duties / accountabilities:
- Participate and support the network wireless Business unit regarding monthly, quarterly and year end activities (YEE).
- Supporting the annual budget process, revised forecast, monthly estimates and actuals.
- Organize and control and consolidated capital governance meeting for all Wireless Network group.
- Providing analysis of KPI’s and conduct variance analysis
- Review results and provide explanations
- Complete various month end reports
- Present financial results to management
- Ongoing process improvement
- Managing the capital lease for Wireline
- Managing credits and ad hoc invoicing
- Managing a team of financial analyst
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- Solid financial knowledge
- Commerce, Accounting or Finance University degree
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Proven analytical capabilities
- Communication skills and ability to articulate analytical results
- Proven history of relentless execution
- Excellent Team spirit
- In depth knowledge of Excel (expert level required), Access, PowerPoint and Word
- Knowledge of Peats
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry preferred
