The Bell Mobility team offers a full range of wireless products and services for residential and business customers, including the largest selection of superphones on the fastest and most advanced network technology.
Reporting to the Director, In-store Marketing Communications, Merchandising & Design, the Merchandising Audit & Compliance Senior Manager will oversee the ongoing evaluation of merchandising within Bell Branded stores across Canada; auditing and reporting of all in-store merchandising requirements. In an effort to provide an outstanding client experience in our Bell stores he/she will work closely with the channel to identify performance gaps and provide ongoing coaching and support to continuously improve merchandising execution at store level. He/she will ensure that any non-compliance issues are escalated when necessary and are resolved in a timely fashion. In addition, he/she will support the stores with implementation of any new merchandising initiatives as required.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Lead a team of Merchandising Compliance Auditors across Canada; recruiting and maintaining high performing talent and setting roles & responsibilities. Facilitate initial training, ongoing coaching & development and manage audit scheduling
- Oversee quarterly merchandising compliance visits for all Dealer Bell branded locations across Canada - monitor, track & provide ongoing results to channels & stakeholders on a weekly basis and provide executive stakeholders quarterly results
- Oversee on site merchandising for all new Bell branded store openings & retrofits across Canada (Corporate & Dealer)
- Drive innovation and simplicity - identify opportunities and drive process improvements, standardization, and enablers to gain efficiencies for in-store merchandising execution
- Oversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution for all live devices in channel (Corporate, Dealer & National Retail)
- Generate compliance reporting & audits – initiate, monitor, track & provide ongoing results to channels & stakeholders on a weekly basis (Corporate & Dealer)
- Compliance team to assist with merchandising hotline & ticket resolution as required
- Partner with channel to continuously improve in-store merchandising compliance - act as single point of contact & resource for channel
- Facilitate all channel calls to keep stores informed of all merchandising activities and build merchandising compliance adoption
- Prepare & deliver impactful presentations
- Oversee team travel budget and approvals
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- Post secondary education including a university degree or college diploma
- Minimum of 5 years of Retail Store Management experience and/or working within a visual merchandising team for a national retailer
- Proven success in actively leading, developing and stretching others to their full potential - ability to drive results while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Self motivated with a drive for achieving superior results
- Ability to effectively analyse data and summarize for executive presentations
- Organized team-player with ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and deal effectively under stress
- Excellent attention to detail & ability to problem solve
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision
- Conflict management
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Advanced skills in MS Office including; Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry or other technology
- Able to travel when required
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
- Bilingualism in French & English is an asset
