The successful candidate will play an integral part of the Financial Planning and Reporting group within Bell Business Markets
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
* Manage the month-end results reporting process for a significant portion of the revenue within the small business market segment by providing insightful analysis on key variances amongst various product portfolios
* Maintain and continually improve forecast models to ensure that key operational drivers are properly captured
* Interact closely with the sales and marketing teams during the forecast cycles to ensure that there is alignment across all stakeholders for key revenue and metric targets
* Responsible for presenting the monthly results and forecasts to the executive team
* Prepare monthly journal entries as required
* Assist on ad-hoc projects and business case analysis for various strategic initiatives to drive improved profitability
Critical Qualifications:
* Completed post secondary accounting/business degree or diploma.
* Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in a financial or analytical role.
* Detail-oriented, effective at managing time and prioritizing, a quick learner and critical thinker.
* Ability to take initiative and problem solve when information is not readily available.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to articulate business issues and solutions succinctly in front of an executive team
* Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization
* Proficient with standard Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
* CA/CMA/CGA Designation or MBA
* Working knowledge of SAP and/or BPC
* Working knowledge of Clarity
