Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
The Program Manager has oversight of the purpose and status of all projects in a Program. They use this oversight to support project-level activity to ensure that overall Program goals are met. They identify and manage cross-project dependencies and have strategic insight into our customer’s business.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Responsible for running complex programs and projects from the design and development stage to production.
- Provide direction and program knowledge to customers, executives, delivery stakeholders, Customer Service Account Management (CSAM), distribution channels, and Service Assurance.
- Voice to the customer and executives for the projects within the program.
- Responsible for project finances (budget) – work with project managers and cross functional teams to ensure that the projects are delivered on time, in scope and within budget
- Works closely with customers to meet their business goals and ensure customer satisfaction
- Provides a decision-making capacity that cannot be achieved at the project level
- Provides planning and scheduling guidance to the program teams to meet project goals, milestones and deliverables.
- Provides escalation support to program teams, identify and solve issues relating to program activities.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- 6+ years of senior project management experience with demonstrated results.
- University degree or 5+ years of related experience.
- Expert knowledge of the Project Management Institute’s approach to project management.
- 10+ years of working experience.
- 3+ years in managing program financials.
- Ability to demonstrate the successful delivery of large, complex, multi-platform contact center solutions (asset).
- Proactive self-starter with demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm and energy.
- Ability to build strong relationships, excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
- Solid management experience with track record of working effectively with direct and virtual teams.
- Excellent problem solver and strategic thinker with the ability to work with ambiguity.
- Flexible to work under pressure with the ability to manage and adapt to a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills (clear, concise verbal and written skills)
- Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of Bell employees and cross functional teams in order to deliver on client expectations.
- Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- PMP, PgMP designation or other advanced Project Management designation.
- 5+ years experience in leading large scale technology solutions and project management.
- Broad knowledge of the Bell Business Markets organization, the various departments and their functions (asset)
- Bilingual (asset)
